Shows lands between Lake Zumpango and Lake Jaltocán south of the Santa Inés Hacienda (roughly 20 miles north of Mexico City). Includes 19 lines of ms. text (dated 1569) outlining legal judgement in a land dispute between sheep rancher Juan Antonio Covarrubias and Indians from Jaltocán; signed by judge Francisco Santiago de Baçan and clerk Gaspar Peréz. Combines Indian and European symbols to identify five churches, two roads, two sheep corrals, numerous Indian houses, fields, and various boundary lines.
